Dear Timothy Sinister,
I hope Mrs. Forbes can help you with this. The best source of information on The Boeing Company is our public Web site. Try clicking on "About Us"; also, you can find a great deal of information using the search tool.
Here are some of the sites you can access. As I'm sure you can imagine, we get hundreds of requests for souvenirs, photos, models, blueprints, stickers, interviews and help with term papers and college projects. While we would like to be able to help each person who writes us, we have neither the time nor the resources to be able to do so.
We have included the most frequently-asked-for information on our web site. You can find information about our airplanes.
[he goes on to list a wack of websites here, I am sure very useful]
You can print it in hard copy if you wish. We receive thousands of requests for various forms of research assistance every year.
We simply do not have the resources to accommodate these requests without a corresponding business case. I hope you understand our position.
Thank you for your interest in Boeing.
Sincerely,
Walter Polt For the Boeing Webmaster

Well, Walter, you clearly read the letter, and that was pretty decent of you, and your response was verbose if nothing else. That said, it was slightly stiff - you need to learn how to communicate with kids better. No hats? Cmon! Boeing can spare un chapeau pour un petite Montrealer.
